Technological advancements enable companies to move from paper-based or old software to real-time Enterprise Resource Planning Systems. This is what you need in your ERP system and ServDay can provide this as your ERP partner.
2. Precision Pest Control Products and Equipment Technologies
A Presentation by Industry’s Renowned Professional – Mr. Michael Howe, President NPD Product Corporate Canada. Michael possesses an unrelenting passion to do better; every day presents a new learning curve, in fact the day wasn’t a success if he didn’t learn something, anything new. Technicians, distributors, scientists, company owners and home owners, past products, new products, kids, friends-- are all his teachers. He will tell you, “when you know better, you do better”. YOU and the world around him are his classroom and he is forever the student. So much to do and so little time.
Accuracy plays a major role in protecting our environment while at the same time controlling the costs of chemicals used every day. And with a reduced quantity of product used, profits increase. Participate to understand precision pesticide products and delivery systems and their potential to mitigate off target movement of pesticides and eliminate pests in the least invasive manner possible.
This is a story of a handy, durable application equipment, a delivery agent - biodegradable foam product, and a biological bacterial agent.
The ProFoam Platinum is a biodegradable, non-toxic blend of surfactants and adjuvants foam formulation—designed to reduce water, time and money, allowing companies successful treatments, responsibly leaving a safer chemical footprint. Water usage is a global concern—conservation of this precious commodity is everyone’s concern. Mixed correctly—ProFoam Platinum decreases water usage-- anywhere from 4 to 18 times less.
The Control Product is BIOPlus, a biological bacterial agent that is formulated in partnership with the U.S. EPA “Design for the Environment”. It delivers exceptional bacterial activity with growth to speed the breakdown and digestion of fats, proteins, carbohydrates and petroleum hydrocarbons thus effectively eliminating attractants and food sources for pests.
NPD has a variety of Foam Application Equipment to choose from, Atmospheric to Hydraulic Foam, Topical to Void applications. Applicators from 1 Liter up to 30 liters, Hand Pump and 18 volt rechargeable, something for every PMP.
3. There is Something in Common Between Foodservice Operations and Your Pest Control Service Delivery –– Ensuring Food Safety!
A Presentation by Industry’s Renowned Professional – Dr. Zia Siddiqi, Ph.D., Board Certified Entomologist
Food safety is very important to protect human health from food borne illnesses and contamination of food from farm to fork. This is an increasingly difficult challenge and of paramount importance for restaurants and foodservice operations in today’s complex supply chains. With more links than ever in the global food supply chain, there is greater risk of contamination and foodborne illness. In Canada, the food service industry is regulated by legislation at all three levels of government (federal, provincial and municipal). Legislation set out the requirements that food premises need to follow to make sure their food is kept safe. Some of it is specific to the food, like food handling, transportation and storage. Other requirements cover things like the condition of the building and the types of equipment that need to be used. All these things together are very important and have an impact on how safe your food is. It is the responsibility of everyone including pest control operators working in food premises to make sure they know the rules that apply to them and to follow those rules.
Pest control operators are not only responsible for controlling insects and rodents, but they also must ensure that their pest control actions does not cause any risk of contamination of food products by pesticides and their personal hygiene.
Due to complex challenges in today’s food supply chain, many of the food retailers are mandating supplier certification to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) schemes, which include SQF, BRC, IFS, FSSC, GLOBALG.A.P. and BAP and CanadaGAP. This presentation will enrich you with information on various food safety initiatives and role of pest management service provider
